Mark McNeany, CFP, B.A., Aff A.I.I, Director/Adviser*
Mark McNeany is a director and co-owner of Vertex Group Pty Ltd and is responsible for the Personal Services division. Prior to co-founding Vertex Group in March 2002, Mark ran his own financial planning practice established in 1996 which now operates as part of Vertex Group. Prior to that Mark has spent 6 years with GIO Australia as a Financial Planner and 3 years with National Mutual Corporate Superannuation both in head office and their Victorian Branch.
Mark is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), practitioner member of the Financial Planning Association, an Affiliate of the Australian Insurance Institute and holds a BA from Latrobe University and more recently completed an Executive Education Strategic Leadership program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business. He is an authorised representative of GWM Adviser Services Ltd (AFSL holder 230692).
Mark is married with 3 children. When he gets the chance, Mark enjoys a round of golf.

Chris Steiger, FIAA – Director / Corporate Business Manager*
Chris Steiger is a director and co-owner of Vertex Group Pty Ltd and is responsible for the Corporate Services division. Prior to co-founding Vertex Group in March 2002, Chris spent 7 years at Watson Wyatt in Melbourne as a Principal, Account Manager and Consulting Actuary. Chris advised a large book of corporate clients on their corporate superannuation and other employee benefits issues. Prior to that Chris worked for National Mutual for 8 years in a variety of roles relating to Corporate Superannuation, both in their Head Office and in their WA office.
Chris is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia. He completed an Executive Education program at Harvard Business School in 1997 and more recently completed an Executive Education Strategic Leadership program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business. He is an authorised representative of GWM Adviser Services Ltd (AFSL holder 230692).
Chris is married with 2 children and is a keen Aussie rules supporter.

Peter Fisher, Para Planner
Our para planner is Peter Fisher, Peter holds a Diploma in Financial Services. Peter has also completed his Advanced Diploma in Financial Services (Financial Planning). Before coming into the financial services area, Peter was a small business
owner/operator for franchised and non-franchised businesses.
At Vertex Group, Peter is responsible for technical and research services and the preparation of our advice documents.
Peter is married with three children and enjoys getting away to the bush for relaxation.
Robin McNeany, Client Services Administrator
Robin’s corporate experience from her roles at Ernst & Young, Advance Australia Foundation and Blockbuster Australia are a valuable resource in the running of our business administration. Prior to Vertex Group, Robin held various positions at Blockbuster Australia’s head office. She began in their Finance Department and was promoted to personal assistant for the CEO and Vice President of the company. Robin successfully managed the day to day business of a number of senior executives in a fast growing multi-national business. Robin’s organisational and client service skills help deliver a consistent experience every time you contact Vertex.
